Terrapin Station Grateful Dead Theme Outdoor Garden Bird Feeder Squirrel Proof

This is a Grateful Dead Terrapin Station themed bird feeder. The bird feeder is from Perky-Pets - the Squirrel Be Gone II model. I have customized this bird feeder with the Terrapin Station Sign and two dancing terrapin turtles. The sign and turtles are laser cut/engraved from cherry hardwood and sealed with an outdoor rated spar urethane to protect it from the outdoor elements. This is a very sturdy, well made birdhouse, you won't be disappointed!

This unique feeder is equipped with weight-activated perches, which means when an animal that's heavier than the bird the seed is intended for comes to visit, the perch goes down and closes the feeding ports, blocking off the seed. It has an adorable house design, complete with a roof, faux chimney, and front porch perch, and there are strategically placed cutouts that look like windows and a front door — all finished in a bold green color that adds to the country charm.

This feeder has an all-metal construction designed to stand up to the weather and squirrel invaders. The metal is powder-coated in a bold green eye-catching color and provides enhanced rust resistance and durability. This feeder can be hung or pole mounted for versatile placement anywhere around your yard. The removable roof and large opening make this feeder easy to fill with up to 8 lb capacity of black-oil sunflower seed, mixed seed, hulled sunflower seed, or safflower seed.
